Teenage rebel Johnny Storm was bombarded with cosmic rays during the fateful voyage of Reed Richards' spacecraft that created the Fantastic Four, becoming the Human Torch. He can transform his body into a superheated plasma and project shaped flames from any part of himself. He can also fly and control temperatures in his immediate area. His sister, Sue Storm, is the Invisible Woman.
